The Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility announces a call for applications for 2019- 2020 Student Fellows.
The Zolberg Student Fellows program is designed to provide research, leadership and mentorship opportunities for New School students interested in topics of migration and mobility. Specifically, Student Fellows will be asked to choose to participate in one or more of the following Institute activities:
- Faculty Research Clusters (groups of faculty pursuing a specific research agenda related to Institute interests)—topics to be announced in September.
- The Zolberg Institute site on the Public Seminar website (writing short articles, reviewing recent scholarly publications, editing articles of contributors)
- Working on the Zolberg Institute podcast, Tempest Tossed
Student Fellows will be invited to attend brown bag talks with other Fellows, affiliated faculty, and outside speakers. They will also receive priority for Institute summer research travel grants. Student Fellows will receive an incentive stipend of $250 for the academic year.
To apply, please submit a CV and a Statement of Interest describing why you would like to be a Zolberg Student Fellow to Catherine McGahan at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, September 6. Open to graduate students and undergraduate seniors.
