Home Equals Resilient Settlements: Addressing Climate Migration Through Housing Investments
Home Equals Resilient Settlements (HERS), aims to produce, systematize, and integrate knowledge on
the transformative impact of housing investments in addressing migration and displacement due to climate
change. The overall objective is to provide global and local evidence that can guide the development of
coherent, context-sensitive policy messages on settlement upgrading through investments in housing, and
services, that improve resilience and address climate migration pressures.
