Summer 2020 Research Grants for Graduate Students
The Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility is pleased to announce the availability of grants from its Graduate Student Research Fund. Grants will provide support for graduate students pursuing work and scholarship related to the themes of migration and mobility during the Summer 2020 term.
Students may request up to $500 per project application. Award amounts will be determined by the project budget, number of awards issued, and availability of funds. Funds may be used for travel and other research-related expenses. Preference will be given to students who have been actively involved in the Zolberg Student Fellows program.
Recipients of the grants will be required to submit a report to the Zolberg Institute in Fall 2020 detailing their project progress. They may be invited to present their work at a student brown-bag session.
To apply, students should submit a project narrative (no more than 500 words), budget, and c.v. to Catherine McGahan, Associate Director of the Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility, at McGahanC@newschool.edu and Mónica Salmón Gómez, Research Assistant, at salmong@newschool.edu. The deadline for applications is March 31.
