Join us In celebrating a new book by Alexandra Delano, assistant professor of Global Studies, Mexico and Its Diaspora in the United States: Policies of Emigration Since 1848. The author is joined by a distinguished panel for a discussion of how Mexican-U.S. relations over the last two hundred years have influenced Mexico’s migration policy, The Mexican ambassador to the United States and members of academia, government, and community organizations assess the relationships that have developed between the U.S., Mexico, and Mexican migrants living in the United States and how policy has influenced transnational activism. A reception will follow with music by Veronica Valerio.
