Shaddin Almasri is a postdoctoral researcher at Danube University Krems on an ERC project titled ‘MixedRivals’. Her research focus is on inequalities between refugee and migrant groups of varying backgrounds. She is particularly interested in the interactions between aid, development, and refugee/migrant integration, with a specific focus on the SWANA region. She works across the academic and development sector and has worked with organizations in Europe and the Middle East including the International Labour Organization, International Center for Migration Policy Development, FairSquare, and Social Impact.
